Creatures of Sonaria PvP Tier List
Bruisers, gliders, tanks, and ambush picks that show up in 2026 KoS arguments.
PvP in Creatures of Sonaria is weight math wearing a dinosaur costume. Heavier species win raw bite trades. Mobility decides who is allowed to start the trade. Ailments (poison, corrosion, radiation, injury) decide who wins if the first two are close. This list is a 2026 snapshot of names that keep appearing in community rankings, not a spreadsheet of all 470 species. If you cannot adult yet, use the beginner tier list and how to survive instead of buying a bruiser you will starve.
S tier — the arguments people actually have
Korathos sits at the top of several 2026 PvP writeups. Highest weight class, huge damage, miasma breath that drains stamina, grab, wing shredder, life leech, poison, tail whip, iron stomach. It is a bruiser: you do not chase the whole map, you punish whoever commits. Lower health than the purest tanks, still enough to ignore chip from light fliers. Weakness is boredom and diet. If you cannot feed a huge carnivore, this S is a paperweight.
Nolumoth is the glider answer. Lower health, absurd mobility, poison area and totem tools, defensive poison, corrosion, iron stomach. It deletes servers of slow land animals and loses to grab plus wing shredder. Do not main it as your first flier; the mid-page video is there because sky KoS has a skill floor. Stay in glide, gain height, poke, do not dive a shredder head-on.
Kavouradis is the HP brick (community figures around 15,000 health and heavy base damage). It used to be “the” creature. Speed is the tax. Anything that can leave the trade will leave. It still wins if you corner it in a bowl.
Oxytalis is ambush: invisibility, life leech, radiation. It is S when the player understands timing and C when they treat invis as immortality.
A tier — still worth Shooms if the kit fits you
A-tier names rotate with remodeled kits and event wardens. Expect to see high-damage aquatics that dart and burst, injury-stack land animals, and fliers that are worse than Nolumoth but cheaper in Trade Realm. Older lists dump dozens of wardens and recode favorites (Hellion Warden, Boreal Warden, Kendyll, Gyroudus, and friends) into SS because they were meta in a different season. Treat those names as ask a current trader, not as a permanent grade. The updates hub is the check.
If a species has grab or wing shredder, it climbs this list even with average stats because those two tools end glider games. If a species only has a pretty breath and no weight, it is content for screenshots.
Combat rules that matter more than the letter
- Weight modifies bite, breath, and tail whip. A light S-name still loses a committed trade to a heavier A-name.
- Laying down is a 1.5× incoming multiplier and turns off your attack. Do not “play dead” in PvP.
- Breath meters can kill you if you dump them. Miasma is a stamina tax, not a machine gun.
- Alternate melee (camera-aimed) often does not apply ailments. Use the default bite when poison is the point.
/hitbox(where available) teaches range. The video’s sky section is mostly hitbox and height, not a secret key.
How to spend toward this list
Do not gacha blindly. Farm Shooms, watch rotation, and buy a kit you can grow with how to grow. Tokens are fine if you only want the adult fighter and do not care about mutations. Plushies will not turn a C-mobility body into Nolumoth; they will make the grow less painful. See items and plushies.
If you main sky, practice on a cheaper flier before you spend a month of mush on a glider. If you main land, learn to refuse fights with anything that can leave. PvP tier is a permission slip to pick a role, not a promise that the server will bow. The tier list hub exists so you can switch back to beginner ranks the moment the bruiser stops being fun.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers players ask after a wipe, a death, or a new event.
Is Korathos the best PvP creature right now?
It is the bruiser most 2026 lists start with: top weight, grab, shredder, miasma. Nolumoth answers it by never staying in the trade.
Why do gliders fall off against some land animals?
Grab and wing shredder pull them out of the sky. Height and poke win; a straight dive loses.
Should I buy an S-tier before I can grow?
No. A starving S is a donation. Use the beginner list until adult is routine.
