Creatures of Sonaria Controls

Creatures of Sonaria hides half the game behind keys the tutorial mentions once. Press K in-world if you want the official overlay; this page is the wiki copy you can read while the client is alt-tabbed. Mobile players get the same actions on the action wheel and HUD buttons. If a patch moves a bind, check the updates hub. If you do not know why you would press the key, go back to getting started.

Return to Main Menu is a red door inside the menu, not a key. Codes and Trade Realm wait behind that door. See how to redeem and how to trade.

Mobile taps

Movement uses the left stick. Sprint, jump, and bite sit on the right cluster. Actions opens the wheel that contains Set Nest, scent, and species extras. Hold the interact button when a prompt appears; that is eat, drink, and token pickup. Stats and map are icons on the HUD rather than K and M. If the gift box is missing, you are still in the world — leave through the menu door, same as desktop.

Controller users aim with the right stick and use the on-screen cursor for menu gifts. There is no separate Xbox code channel.

Binds that get people killed

T (lay down) heals and multiplies incoming damage. Do not AFK-lay in public. How to survive explains the multiplier.

B (nest) on a ridge is a map ping for griefers. Read how to nest before you advertise a 100 HP structure.

H then nothing is how carnivores starve next to a carcass they never targeted. Sniff is information, not food. You still hold E.

N off while growing is how a flier finds you. Hide scent during growth and mutation farms.

Space spam on a tired flier dumps stamina and drops you on a shredder. The PvP sky notes are stamina notes.

Ability keys

1–6 fire the kit: breaths, grabs, invis, area poison, totems. Camera direction can swap alternate melee, which often does not apply ailments. If poison is the point, use the default bite. Breath meters can damage you when emptied. That is a combat rule, not a bug.

A 30-second bind drill

Spawn a starter. Press K, H, N, M, V, then hold E on water. If any of those do nothing, you are in a menu, a tutorial lock, or a species that lacks the action (a land animal will not glide on F). Drill once per new mobility tag. The tools hub is the index; this table is the thing you actually needed.
